Social networking and social media marketing is on the rise.  Several businesses are seeing the incredible advantages to utilizing social media like Twitter and Facebook in promoting their products.  Tastecasting takes that advantage a step further by introducing businesses to a group of people well connected in social media.  By holding a tastecasting, a business can have their product promoted to thousands of individuals.

tastecastingEstablishments invite a team to attend a complimentary tasting.  In return, the team broadcasts to their linked friends and followers via Facebook, Twitter, Wordpress, Blogger, Linkedin, Youtube, Flickr, Stumble, and more.  There is live texting and tweeting during the event, then followups are posted on blogs and other social media sites by Tastecasters after the event.  In addition, I or a co-captain will be posting on the team Tastecasting site.

By treating a team of Tastecasters, you’re communicating to several thousand of their network connections across multiple platforms.  The Tastecasting team not only broadcasts descriptions of their experience, but video and photographs which capture the attention (and stomachs!) of their connections.

If you are a Seattle restaurant, bakery, winery, or other business in the food/beverage industry and are interested in hosting a Tastecasting event, please fill out the “Request a Tasting” form.  If you live in the the Seattle area, are well connected in social media, and are interested in becoming a tastecaster, please fill out the “Join a Team” form.  Whether you are interested in hosting a tasting or joining a team, please also email me through my contact page so I can be sure to connect with you personally.
